Then: The loud, unapologetic drama queen with a penchant for mischief and a love for the center stage. The leader of the pack that always had a little something wild up her sleeve.
The middle school principal. Little miss juggling nostalgia, responsibilities, and a lot of unfinished business. She’s about to face her past head on with Hala’s wedding.

Simon Mankowski (pronounced Man-kov-ski): Master of Shenanigans

Then: The hype man & track star who was always down to clown. Izzie’s partner in crime.
Now: Mr. Perfectly Fine with the white picket fence.

Hala Khan: The Mom Friend

Then: The responsible one for all intents and purposes, although she also had a chaos streak.
Now: The bride-to-be, the one who summoned the Party Rock Crew to reunite after 4 years.

Daisy Martinez: The Wild Card

Then: The unpredictable one who was either at the center of fun or MIA.
Now: A second year surgical resident who everyone’s pretty sure has fallen off the face of the planet.

Carolina Thompson: Little Miss Sunshine

Then: The effortlessly cool one. Always tan, always active, always radiating the good vibes.
Now: A world traveler who goes hiking up very tall mountains. She has lungs of steel.

Harriet “Hattie” Sanderson: The Spitfire

Sunwoo McKinnon-Lee (Pronounced Sun-oo, the w is silent) : The Menace

Then: The wildest of the group & the youngest of the ’94 gang. He could crack a joke and miraculously got away with it.
Now: A walking HR violation waiting to happen. He still makes the most inappropriate jokes and the most inopportune times.

Noora Khan: The Kite

Then: Hala’s cousin and the one who always drifted in and out of the crew. Always had an opinion and always had to be on edge.
Now: A financial analyst who wants nothing to do with any of the Party Rock Crew shenanigans. 0/10 likely to show up to Hala’s wedding, but we’ll see.

Carter Emiliano: Shakespeare

Then: The one that the English department absolutely adored. He always had some poetic or literary reference.
Now: A best-selling writer. Is anyone surprised? No.

Calliope “Callie” Emiliano: The Flower Child

Then: The one everyone is quick to protect because she is too pure for this world. The biggest sweetheart.
Now: Still very much a sweetheart and guess what? She’s a veterinarian now.

Ryan Bauer: The Tie on the Head Guy

Then: Always the one with the tie on his head by the end of the night. Somehow got roped into the crew thanks to Simon.
Now: A car salesman. It makes sense.

Cheyenne O’Brien: Lil Hipster Girl

Then: She was the sass queen with a love for dance. The youngest of the crew, as she was a freshman with the crew were all seniors. Simon’s girlfriend and date to prom.
Now: A dance instructor with hopes of owning her own studio. Did anyone mention she’s Simon’s ex?

Martin Sanchez: Hala’s fiance, head financial specialist.
Elaine Anderson: Simon’s fiancee, Izzie’s old high school rival from theatre. She holds on to grudges tightly and wants nothing to do with Izzie & wants Simon to stay far away from her.
Alejandro “Alex” Garcia: Izzie’s childhood friend from middle school. He’s a mechanic by day and moonlights as a DJ.
Melanie Wayland: Izzie’s college roommate turned best friend, honorary Party Rock Crew member.
Xandra Mirakova: One of Izzie’s older sister figures throughout high school. She was her sounding board and biggest creative inspiration.

The California Crew

Riley Ruelle: Preschool director, badass boss mama, & loving wife. She’s also Izzie’s best friend.
Tony Ruelle: Head football coach at SaMo High, he’s Riley’s no nonsense and no bullshit husband. Has been known to be blunt.
Josephine “Jo” Pena: The sweetest kindergarten teacher with a punch of sass. She’s Izzie’s best friend.
Maisie Williams: The wise-cracking secretary of SaMo Middle school and she just so happens to be Izzie’s neighbor.
Jose Velasquez: The IT specialist for the SaMo district. His main office is at SaMo middle school. He’s friends with Izzie through grad school & their old volleyball team.
Hana Flyinghawk: PTA president & art teacher, & after school art club coordinator. She’s one of Izzie’s besties.
Heather Aaronson: The PTA mean girl and Izzie’s biggest headache.
Quinn Rivera: Izzie’s former crush & grad school buddy. They also played on the same volleyball team with Jose & Diana. They lost touch when he reunited with his ex girlfriend, Rosalyn.
Rosalyn “Rosa” Torres: Quinn’s girlfriend and the Yoko Ono of the Net Slammers team.

Odalys Llerena-Simpson (Izzie’s mom): Beloved secretary & queen of sass. The ultimate soccer mom.

Matthew Simpson (Abuelo): The man with never-ending wisdom & a love for the Cubs. A gentle giant & the patriarch of the family.

Sammi Ellerson: Izzie’s high school archnemesis. The two of them have been at odds since freshman year when Sammi’s crush professed his undying affection towards Izzie.
Anthony Miller: Sammi’s crush and Izzie’s worst nightmare.
Theodore “Theo” Wasinski: A friend of Izzie and Carter’s. Has been known to date a lot of the freshman class so far.
Andrew “Drew” Bowen: The baby blue eyed guy with a love of EDM. Has been known to make the girls swoon.
Hatter Abbatesciani: The sophomore that was transported from the 70s to the late aughts.

Lily Cherry: The sweet bookworm of Aspen Brook High, she’s one of Hattie’s best friends and Simon’s date to homecoming.
